How do I make a reservation?

You may place an order by email, on our website, or by telephone. Orders may be placed by phone Monday-Sunday during business hours or by email 24/7. We will contact you via email or phone to confirm the booking. Please note for bookings within 24 hrs of date required customers are advised to call the branch before pick up, to confirm the booking. Some stock not available at all branches, and may need to be picked up at a different branch, transfers to requested branch is available but requires 2-3 days before requested date to organise.

How do I get a quote?

You can request a quote by email, telephone or on our website. When sending over your request, please identify the specific items and quantities needed. Make any notes for speciality items or requests.

When do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend that you make a reservation as soon as possible. Early booking helps us to guarantee all of your items are available.

Can I pick up the rental items?

We offer customer pick up Monday-Sunday during business hours. Certain items like large scissor lifts & boom lifts, large excavators etc. do require delivery by one of our rental specialists.

What is your cancellation policy?

We do not charge a cancellation fee, but ask that you let us know as soon as possible.

What is your rain policy?

If a cancellation is needed for bad weather or rain and is cancelled prior to your delivery time you will not be charged any additional fees, if it is after this you will be charged the transport charges. If your machine is already on site and you stand it down for a rain day, the equipment must be made available if we have a hire for it for that day to not incur the daily charge.

What are your payment policies?

We accept Cash, EFTPOS, VISA & MasterCard. Charge accounts are available upon request. If you wish to be invoiced or set up an account, please fill out our account application form.

How far do you deliver?

We have three locations and can deliver to most locations within an hour from our depot’s. Account customers can use there trading account at Kerr’s Hire and get us to organise your equipment solutions outside these areas anywhere in Australia.

Do I have to pay for rentals that I don’t use?

Yes, we charge for all time out, not time used.

What are the rental rates or time frames?

Depending on the item, we offer 4hr/ half day and 24hr/ full day prices morning to morning or afternoon to afternoon. 4 hour rates are available Monday to Friday and on Saturday Morning.
